Tom Hiddleston, Taylor Swift Broke Up: Benedict Cumberbatch Helps Hiddleston Avoid Talking About ‘Certain Someone’

Tom Hiddleston Taylor Swift broke up

Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston briefly dated. Three months, to be exact. But that does not mean their relationship was not well-documented before and after they broke up.

Hiddleston was interviewed for Interview Magazine by his fellow British mate Benedict Cumberbatch, known for playing Sherlock Holmes.

They talked about a lot of things – Hiddleston’s fame as playing Loki in Thor, activities to kickstart his day and biggest regret in life. All while managing to dodge the subject everyone is most curious about: Taylor Swift.

By the time the interview was conducted, Hiddleston and Swift are most likely still together. During that time, many photos of the two dating surfaced.

Cumberbatch maneuvered around the topic by talking about the perils of being under the public eye. The two are both famous actors, which makes it something they have in common.

He continued by saying there are presumptions by having their work and promotion very public. And that makes people presume their private life is public too.

Ergo, Cumberbatch said he is not going to ask questions about his friend’s personal life “just because there are unsolicited photographs of him and a certain someone, in a relationship or together.”

Hiddleston thanked his friend with a chuckle, according to Vanity Fair.

Although he did not address his romantic life directly, he did share some insights on the jogs he did that was captured by paparazzi. It was during the time he was living with the Shake It Off singer in Australia while shooting for Thor: Ragranok, as per E! Online.

“You’ve got to do something, even if it’s just to kick-start the day, ” the Crimson Peak actor told Cumberbatch. He said he uses music and running outside to start his day when working.

Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston broke up early September after dating for three months. Be that as it may, Hiddleston said they are “in good terms” even after ending the relationship.
