Scarlett Johansson just made an interesting career move. The Avengers: Age of Ultron actress recently opened a gourmet popcorn shop in Paris.
The shop is a pet project with her husband Romain Dauriac, an advertising executive. Situated in the Marais district, it will serve up truffle, parmesan and sage flavored popcorn. This early, the enterprising actress and her husband are mulling over the possibility of expanding to other locations.
For now, Johansson and her hubby are waiting to see if their sweet concoctions will be a hit among Parisians. The voluptuous actress is known to be very fond of popcorn, especially when mixed with fresh, seasonal ingredients.
The actress-entrepreneur collaborated with Ducks Eatery and Harry & Ida’s Meat and Supply Co. chef Will Horowitz for the popcorn store Yummy Pop’s menu items.
News about Scarlett Johansson and the recent career move she may be making will not be complete without updates on her appearance in Marvel’s upcoming Avengers flicks. Johansson, who has become among the favorites of fans for her portrayal of the Black Widow, has not given final confirmation that she will rejoin the gang in The Avengers: Infinity Wars.
Nonetheless, the key characters including Iron Man, the Hulk, Thor, Loki, Spiderman, Captain America, Doctor Strange, and most probably The Black Widow are expected to re-team to beat a powerful enemy. It can be noted that Marvel’s producer said in an interview that the new film is “inspired by everything that has been established” and what is yet to come.
In the meantime, Scarlett Johansson is not sitting idly and has jumpstarted a new career move. Other celebrities have opened their own businesses through the years. Among the most recent is actress Jessica Biel, who opened a few months ago her restaurant, Au Fudge, in West Hollywood.
Biel’s initial special guests included her former co-stars in 7th Heaven. Beverley Mitchell even wrote on her Instagram account that it was fun supporting Biel when she launched her new restaurant.
