Kate Middleton News Now: Honors UK’s Sporting Heroes in Buckingham Palace With Other British Royals

Kate Middleton News

Wherever she goes, Kate Middleton never fails to send people into a frenzy. The crowd gets all worked up when she enters a room or plane. News flies fast when she is on  her way to an event. Even her simple dinners and receptions, like the special welcome for UK’s Rio Olympic medalists at Buckingham Palace, instantly went viral.

From the Royal Canadian Tour to her solo engagement to the Netherlands, to her recent visit to Manchester, the Duchess of Cambridge is fast emerging as the most popular royal. Her adorable kids, Prince George and Prince Charlotte, and sister Pippa Middleton have also been making headline news, but it looks like Middleton is the undeniable crowd favorite at the moment.

Kate Middleton and Prince William news have been unceasing, nonetheless, since the day they got engaged, and after marriage and kids. Detractors have speculated how Queen Elizabeth may have something to do with the warm and people-friendly image projected now by the Duchess of Cambridge. Just two years after Middleton and Prince William began dating, Middleton had qualms about being in the public eye. She even filed a legal complaint about media harassment.

Through the years, and after finally finding her own path as part of the British royal family notwithstanding constant comparisons with Princess Diana, Middleton seems to have emerged as a royal favorite.

Middleton has given royal backing to advocacies and UK programmes aimed at alleviating the plight of people suffering from certain conditions. Recently, she and other members of the royal family stepped up partnerships with mental health charities.

A newly released video showing Middleton with Prince William and Prince Harry in a lighthearted moment was a form of support for the London Marathon runners. The Prince Harry-Kate Middleton news urging the public to support the marathon in support of mental health has made the rounds of social media.

In the meantime, the British royals happily greeted the Olympians and Paralympians who trooped to Buckingham Palace to share their triumphs. Great Britain has been in world news for hauling 67 medals in Rio, and the athletes were proud and happy they set new records. One of the athletes eagerly tweeted that it was a “massive honour” to meet the British royals. Prince Harry joined Kate Middleton, Prince William and Queen Elizabeth in meeting the Olympic heroes.
