‘Criminal Minds’ Season 12 Episode 5 Spoilers: Families Murdered, Survivors Linked by Bullying?

Danger lies ahead in Episde 5 of Criminal Minds Season 12. Spoilers indicate that the sole survivors of a homicide may be connected by bullying.

Spoilers for Episode 5 of Criminal Minds Season 12 suggest that the BAU is investigating the connection between two high school students after their families are killed. The two high school students also happen to be the sole survivors and it is up to the BAU to figure out how these two teenagers are linked.

More spoilers for Criminal Minds Season 12 Episode 5 reveal that bullying may have led to the murder of those families. It then poses the question of whether one of those two survivors is the bully, trying to drive the other one crazy to the extent that they would kill their families to wreak terror in the other person’s life. It could also have been an act of revenge to the bully, as what could happen when a person is being constantly pushed over the edge.

Either way it does not look good and from what the promo for the episode shows, it seems that not even the survivors are what they seem. Whether or not the episode is trying to show how bullying can affect a person physically, mentally and psychologically, the synopsis seems to do a good job in presenting what could happen.

In other news, Jane Lynch is returning as Diana Reid in an upcoming episode of the current season. As for Hotch? No word yet on what could happen to Thomas Gibson’s character since his exit. Fans however, are pleased that Paget Brewster will remain on the show for good.

Episode 5, “The Anti-Terrorism Squad” of Criminal Minds Season 12 is written by Stephanie SenGupta and directed by Tawnia McKiernan.

It guest stars Joey Bragg, Kaylee Ecklund, Jacob Houston, Trevor Black, Dalton Gray, Shaughn Buchholz, Heather Hopkins, David Wunderlich, Matt Cornett, Drew Bell, Jill Whelan, Vishesh Chachra, Lizzie Poncio, Tess Aubert, Devan Leos, Romel De Silva, Christine McLain, Hunter Payton, Kelli Barksdale and Erica Lamkin.

Criminal Minds Season 12 airs Wednesdays on CBS.
