Spider-Man in ‘Avengers: Infinity War’: ‘We’re Figuring It Out,’ Says Kevin Feige

With Avengers: Infinity War being one of the biggest superhero movies in the MCU already underway with production, it is safe to say that everyone in the MCU movies are going to be there. Does that mean the same for the TV characters and most especially Spider-Man?

Marvel producer Kevin Feige talked about the future of Spider-Man in the MCU films to come, including the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War. Feige stated that they are still currently figuring it out.

Spider-Man appearing in the MCU was initially for Captain America: Civil War and Spider-Man: Homecoming, which just wrapped up production. However, Feige also said that they are always talking to people from Sony on which direction they could take for Spider-Man in the future.

Spider-Man first made his MCU debut in the very successful Captain America: Civil War, alongside Black Panther, and both characters already have their solo movies underway. Previously, actor Tom Holland mentioned that it is not certain whether or not the web slinger will be joining the Avengers in Infinity War.

So, will Spider-Man be in Avengers: Infinity War?

Feige did not want to spoil anything, and instead prefers that to be a surprise on whether or not he will be joining in the battle against Thanos.

As for the Marvel TV heroes, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Jessica Jones and Daredevil, there is a chance that they could cross over to the movies. If their schedules do not clash with each other, then everyone can look forward to possibly seeing them in a movie or two. If the characters from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D could also be involved, then the Avengers would be happy to hear that Coulson is still very much alive.

Meanwhile, Doctor Strange is confirmed to join Avengers: Infinity War and so are the Guardians of the Galaxy.

Avengers: Infinity War is scheduled to premiere on May 4, 2018.
