Marc Stein of ESPN reported late last week that Toronto Raptors have interest on the Philadelphia 76ers forward Nerlens Noel. He further said that Toronto Raptors had the talks done by summer. According to Keith Pompey of Philadelphia Inquirer and Daily News, the focus of Toronto Raptors offer to the 76ers was Terrence Ross however, no deal made to completion.
Nerlens Noel can be lined with the excess of giants in the Sixers team. Among these are Joel Embiid, Jahlil Okafor, the recently acquired Ersan Ilyasova, and Dario Saric. Considering these giants, Noel is a potential plus. Toronto is now more inclined to giving more playing minutes for its rookies Pascal Siakam and Jakob Poetl until Jared Sullinger gets well from a foot injury. He is expected to return to the court by January 2017.
Noel is in his third NBA campaign. He averaged 11.1 points on .521 shooting percentage and 8.1 rebounds in 29.3 minutes a game. This is his record from all 67 games last season.
