Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie Divorce Forces Actor to Cancel All Public Appearances and Promotions

It came as a shock to many when Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from Brad Pitt due to irreconcilable differences. The two, who has always been regarded as one of the best couples in Hollywood, now has to deal with the consequences of the proceedings. The latest news tells us that one such consequence is possibly pulling out of all promotions for upcoming films, which the actor is now said to do.

Brad Pitt will star in the Robert Zemeckis film Allied, which is scheduled for release later this month. In light of this, many sources tell that the time preceding and leading up to the film was going to be a big push for Pitt to finally win an Oscar for his acting chops.

Sadly, it did not go as planned because of the said divorce. Aside from all the usual speculations, Angelina Jolie is also pushing to get full custody of the kids. Pitt has also been accused of child abuse, and the latest news is that the LA County DCFS and even the FBI still has an ongoing investigation regarding the matter.

As a result of this, the actor has decided to pull out of any future public appearances. This includes promotional tours for Allied, and he even cancelled the interviews in which he already was scheduled to appear.

It did not help that rumors seem to fan the flame regarding the actor’s co-star on the film, Marion Cotillard. Apparently, the latest news tells that the chemistry between him and the French actress was so great; many were saying that it left even someone as Angelina Jolie insecure. Fortunately, Cotillard cleared her side of the issue and denied any special relationship, stating she already has her partner in life and she is happy.

Brad Pitt said he was saddened by the divorce. He still asked Angelina Jolie to “lower the volume” on the custody battle, as he wanted to protect the privacy of the six kids.
