‘The Walking Dead’ Season 7 Spoilers: Michonne’s One-Man Army; Rick, Michonne Over?

Amid Rick’s submission to Negan and the Saviors, spoilers suggest an important person in his life might rebel against his decision. Does this mean an impending conflict among the Alexandrians in The Walking Dead Season 7?

The remaining survivors are dealing with their loss differently in every way they can. To some it might mean to surrender while others want to fight. Unfortunately, that is where Rick and Michonne might take varying sides.

The Walking Dead Season 7: Rich-Michonne Impasse

Danai Gurira, the character playing Michonne, reveals the struggle her character is facing. Michonne deals with her loss by wanting to be prepared when the savage leader of the Saviors strikes again. They were once “caught so off-guard in such a planned and structured way” and she does not want to be “defenseless against him again.”

Always a fighter, Michonne is aware of the “need to prepare for dealing” with Negan according to spoilers by Danai. However, it might not be something she meets eye to eye with Rick, and with that, they find themselves in “some sort of an impasse.”

At the end of the day, Rick is not only her partner. He is their leader as well.

Michonne’s One-Man Army

Danai revealed spoilers that Michonne is on the verge of “reverting” to her former nature. Functioning alone has never been a problem for Michonne. With the events that unfolded, it is only a matter of time before she finds herself back to “figuring out her own solutions without functioning as a team.”

It stems from not having anyone to talk to regarding the matter. Rick’s resolution is already obvious. Meanwhile, talking to everybody else aside from Rick would not be an option too as it would seem like an act of “disrespecting his leadership.”

If Michonne really is plotting something, will it lead to an impending doom? Or will she lead a successful uprising against their nemesis?

The Walking Dead Season 7 airs Sundays on AMC.
