‘Gotham’ Season 3 Spoilers: James Remar to Play Frank Gordon

As Gotham Season 3 approaches its winter finale, another Gordon is coming to Gotham. Spoilers say that Jim’s very secretive uncle Frank Gordon is coming to the mad city for Season 3.

Gotham producers have tapped Dexter star James Remar for the role of Frank Gordon for the Batman-prequel series. Spoilers also say that Remar’s first appearance as Frank Gordon will start when Gotham returns for the second half of Season 3 in 2017.

Remar previously appeared as a recurring character in Grey’s Anatomy and Wilfred. He will also be appearing in the second season of the Hulu series The Path.

A Man Who Knows How to Keep a Secret

Frank Gordon’s character is described as someone who knows how to keep a secret. Frank Gordon knows how to play a double agent and abandoned Jim’s family after his brother died in a fatal car accident. Twenty-five years later, he has come back to Gotham in an effort to reconnect with his nephew.

However, Gotham Season 3 spoilers hint that Frank is also keeping a very dark secret. That secret he is keeping from Jim will destroy his world. It will lead to Jim ultimately making a choice on who to save: his family or the city? Jim made a similar choice before in a previous episode, who to kill between the two women in his life.

In the meantime, Gotham Season 3 spoilers for the fall finale hint that Mario and Jim will once again get into a heated confrontation before his wedding to Lee. While Barbara tips Ed off with some very important information. Barbara previously found out who really killed Ed’s girlfriend Isabella while on her mission to look for Butch and Tabitha, and as the promo might suggest, Ed and Oswald’s friendship will be broken.

Gotham Season 3 airs Mondays on Fox.
