Dirty tricks, ruined images and wedding bells are in store in new spoilers for The Young and the Restless. Spoilers say that Hilary once again plays dirty and Devon will be facing some consequences while Nick and Chelsea will eventually fall in love.
Previously, Hilary showed she still has some good in her during the holidays when Devon sent her to cover a story far from the hot gossip she spilled over at GC Buzz. Now, new The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that Hilary is back to her usual tricks. There is no point anymore in Devon trying to keep her in line regarding the search for a good story, as Hilary is going to play dirty anyway and air the scandals involving Genoa City’s elite.
Since the Christian controversy boosted the ratings for GC Buzz, Hilary will be back to possibly corner Mariah and asking about what else she knows. Hilary is convinced that there is more to this scandal than it seems. Should Hilary find out about what else Mariah knows, there is no doubt that she will expose it, and Devon is perhaps the only person who can control Mariah.
However, Devon has other things to worry about.
Devon’s Image Ruined
Knowing that Hilary likes to play dirty just to air a good scoop, they might face some trouble with Victor once again. Victor has previously warned them to keep his company and his family away from the GC Buzz spotlight. Should Hilary and Devon stray again, Victor will sue, leading to a ruined reputation for Devon and most likely a bigger enemy for Hilary. Hilary has been making enemies left, right and center with everything she is doing lately.
Behind the scenes, incoming head writer Sally Sussman mentioned that she did not like how rich Devon is. Victor suing Devon will most likely happen, and Sussman added that it was a mistake to give Devon that big of a fortune because it led him to lose his purpose.
Meanwhile, wedding bells might be ringing sometime next year as new spoilers tease that Nick and Chelsea’s relationship will evolve, and in time, Chelsea will become Nick’s new wife.
Previously, Sally Sussman revealed that she plans on taking The Young and the Restless back to its roots, back to what made it such a popular soap opera. Apart from leaving Adam out of the story for good, Sussman plans on reinventing most of their main characters.
Although Nick has not been given a drastic change, fans can count that Nick will remain to be the more sensible Newman family member. Fans have already expected that Nick and Chelsea’s relationship will blossom into a romance, so a 2017 wedding might be in the works for the budding couple.
The Young and the Restless airs Mondays to Fridays on CBS.
