‘The Young and the Restless’ New Spoilers: Cane Headed for Painkiller Addiction?

Y&R new spoilers

It seems that another character will be struggling with addiction in the upcoming episodes of The Young and the Restless. New spoilers tease that Cane might be going down a dark, destructive path that could hinder both his family and his career.

While everyone else is so busy with their personal issues, Cane is the one keeping Brash & Sassy running. However, when Cane undergoes surgery that causes him to stay at home to recover, previous spoilers say that he has his eyes set on the bottle of painkillers. New The Young and the Restless spoilers state that Cane might try and take a few of them, but he could go overboard with continued use.

In the meantime, Cane is determined to get back to work. He knows he is the one pulling a lot of the strings around in the company seeing as Billy, Victoria and Jill are so busy with their personal things. Cane feels like he is the one who could keep Brash & Sassy running smoothly if the other three cannot. But his determination to work again might make Lily worry.

Lily and Cane Talk

New spoilers for The Young and the Restless say that Lily and Cane will have a good talk. Cane thinks he is ready to get back to work, but Lily thinks otherwise. It is not easy to get back into the swing of things after having been at home and recovering from surgery for a while, and Lily knows it. But Cane will assure his wife that this is for the best, and Lily might just give up on trying to get through to him as he could be very stubborn.

But should Cane really go down that dark path towards pill addiction, that could cause some big problems for him. Cane might start slipping up at work and Lily might not want their kids to go near him due to his addiction. On the other hand, Cane might just choose to stay sober and clean as he recovers, but still go through that period of adjusting to work again.

The Young and the Restless airs Mondays to Fridays on CBS.
