Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will not be spending Christmas together as Prince Harry will be in Sandringham with the rest of the royal family for their festive traditions – and Meghan is not invited. There is a reason why, though.
Meghan Markle No Place in Royal Family Christmas Table – Yet
Royal expert Katie Nicholl sheds some light on why Meghan Markle is not invited to the royal family’s private Christmas gathering. It simply is because the Suits actress is not family yet, and she would have to be at least engaged to Prince Harry before she will “have a place around that Christmas dinner table.”
Thus, it is unlikely true that Queen Elizabeth denied Prince Harry’s alleged request of inviting his girlfriend Meghan Markle in the family’s gathering in their Sandringham House country estate since Prince Harry is well aware of the rules. In fact, even Kate Middleton had to wait for 10 years before she was invited in Sandringham.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Cannot Wait To Be Together
Ever since Prince Harry released a statement through Kensington Palace’s Twitter account confirming his relationship with Meghan Markle, everyone peeled their eyes open in seeing the two together. While they are not seen together, Prince Harry does make a romantic change of travel plans just to be with Meghan amid his busy schedule.
After Prince Harry’s 14-day Caribbean tour for his royal engagements, the prince made a stopover in Canada where girlfriend Meghan is shooting the Suits series instead of heading straight to London.
Once again, the pair managed to keep their meeting under wraps as they managed to dodge paparazzi cameras and met without photos surfacing. Reports say the couple just “wanted to have time alone and be together.” And most importantly, they wanted their limited time together to be “private.”
Prince Harry already flew back to London while Meghan Markle was seen flashing a sweet smile a day after being together.
