Rick and Morty release date

Each show, each movie has those fans who are impatiently waiting for writers, creators, and producers to churn out the next installments. In the case of Rick and Morty, Dan Harmon now has a response to the angry fans waiting for Season 3 to come out.

As everyone can recall, creator Dan Harmon promised that Season 3 of Rick and Morty will come out before the end of 2016. However, it is already nearing the end of the year and no teaser or updates regarding the show’s upcoming season has been released. This sent fans demanding the show to air, constantly tweeting the show’s creators Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland.

Much like their characters, Roiland responded in a very Morty-like manner while Harmon replied like Rick. Roiland tweeted that nobody ever asked him if Season 3 would be coming soon, so he concludes that fans are just patiently waiting. The co-creator and voice actor for Morty replied just shortly after Dan Harmon’s rant, telling Twitter trolls to back off.

Dan Harmon Shuts Them Down

Harmon’s tweet rant started off sarcastic and very Rick-like. “I mean you should really be telling me to get back to work when I’m NOT tweeting…” since that was when he was probably just having a drink.

But that was only the first of the few tweets he posted to shut the trolls down. Harmon tweeted an ideal list of when people can tell him what to do. First on the list? Never, and followed by the year 1992 when he was the age of supposedly one or a few trolls. Third on the list is that if said trolls were paying him or doing something he respects.

Another response Harmon gave the trolls was asking them how they think TV shows or movies, especially animated ones are made.

There is no certain release date for Rick and Morty Season 3 on Adult Swim yet. If Mr. Poopy Butthole’s prediction is accurate, then fans can expect the third season to arrive possibly in March 2017.
