Victoria may not have a romantic relationship to pursue, but she will have other things to worry about. New spoilers for The Young and the Restless indicate that her teenage son Reed will arrive in Genoa City and updates on Michael Muhney’s situation, including a fan petition.

Just when Victoria thought she would spend the holidays in peace, it might not be the case. Especially when she sees her son Reed again. Actor Tristan Lake Leabu has been cast for the role and new spoilers reveal that he might be a runaway when he first appears on the show.

When Reed arrives at Victoria’s doorstep, new spoilers for The Young and the Restless hint that she will quickly inform JT, Reed’s father. JT will be a little concerned about this but perhaps relieved as well that Reed is safe. Reed, on the other hand, hopes to stay in Genoa City with Victoria permanently seeing as JT is going to leave the country. While Victoria will point out that JT has custody of him, Reed explains that since he is older now, there will be no problem requesting the change in court.

Fans Petition to Bring Michael Muhney Back

As everyone knows, Adam Newman is a fan favorite on the show. Since Justin Hartley is preoccupied with another show, this leaves Michael Muhney to be considered. However, with head writer Sally Sussman not planning to bring the other Newman son back from the dead, that might pose a challenge.

As a refresher, Michael Muhney was dropped from the show in 2013, for reasons so vague, the fans could not help but be angered by it. Online trolls spread the rumor that the reason for Muhney’s termination was because he allegedly groped Hunter King, who plays Summer. When the producers did nothing to shut down gossips, it raised speculations even more.

Muhney constantly denied those rumors and no proof was shown of his supposed action. Justin Hartley took over for him, and even until now, Muhney’s fans have been petitioning for him to be rehired as Adam. Muhney responded to the fans who petitioned, expressing his gratitude to have many people supporting him and what he does.

Will Michael Muhney be back? More updates to come.

The Young and the Restless airs Mondays to Fridays on CBS.
