Casey Affleck ‘SNL’ Dunkin Donuts: Hilarious Commercial Parody; Best ‘Saturday Night Live’ Skits of 2016

By on

SNL has made another sketch that will leave viewers laughing at Casey Affleck in their Dunkin Donuts ad sketch. But will the popular coffeehouse chain be as thrilled on the commercial parody?

The 41-year-old American actor is last weekend’s guest host on Saturday Night Live. Clothed in a work jacket and Bruins baseball cap, Casey, with his thick Boston accent, claims in the sketch that he is “like the mayor of Dunkin.” Also, he is portrayed as one of the coffeehouse chain’s “real” customers.

Casey Affleck also announces in the skit that he is a loyal customer of the donut store as he visits them daily. His routine? “Grab a cooler. Have an extra large, three Parliaments. Take a big dump,” Casey proudly proclaims in the Saturday Night Live commercial parody.

AdAge.com definitely enjoyed the skit as author Simon Dumenco called it the “realest” and “funniest” ad ever made for the global donut company.

Meanwhile, as 2016 comes to an end, it is only right to look back at some of the best skits of Saturday Night Live that made us laugh and cackle – especially during the times when we needed it the most, like Dave Chappelle’s Stand-Up Monologue, while not really a sketch, in Saturday Night Live’s post-Election 2016 episode.

One of the parodies you should not miss, or you can re-watch if you have seen it already, is Mafia Meeting with Peter Dinklage. The Force of Star Wars cannot be ignored as well with Kylo Ren’s Undercover Boss: Starkiller Base.

And who can forget Ariana Grande’s celebrity impressions in Kid’s Choice Awards?

Game of Thrones: Jon Snow is also one hilarious sketch which only GOT fans will most likely get. Alec Baldwin’s skits as Donald Trump also made it to Saturday Night Live’s best that it even drew attention from President-elect Donald Trump himself where he ranted about the NBC show on his favorite social media platform, Twitter.

And of course, the best Saturday Night Live’s skits would not be complete without Melissa McCarthy’s The Day Beyonce Turned Black where they poked fun at people, especially the whites, who did not understand Queen Bey’s Lemonade album. As of now, make sure not to miss Casey Affleck’s Dunkin Donuts parody with the latest episode of SNL.
