The Flash and Cyborg’s costumes for the Justice League movie were almost entirely different as seen in their early concept builds.
Ironhead Studio, which aids in many costumes for Justice League and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, released a photo of what Flash and Cyborg’s costumes almost looked like. The photo can be viewed on Twitter.
There is not much difference in Cyborg’s current suit from the older costume. The only major distinction is the full-faced mask.
Meanwhile, Flash’s suit originally looked like an armor that does not quite fit the character. The only indicator the suit belongs to Flash is the lightning bolt on its chest. Hence, Flash’s current and toned down costume appears to be more suitable for the character.
However, there is a possibility that the two concepts will not be totally scrapped. Since both Cyborg and Flash will get their own standalone movies, there is a chance the suits will serves as blueprints for the upgrade costumes.
The two are not the only ones with an alternate suit. Justice League director Zack Snyder also tweeted a photo of Batman’s new “Tactical Batsuit.”
Information on the DC Comic’s movie is quite securely guarded. One of the details learned by Cinema Blend so far is that Justice League‘s plot will mostly revolve on the formation of the team. As revealed in the trailer shown during the San Diego Comic-Con, Cyborg, played by Ray Fisher, Aquaman, played by Game of Thrones‘ Jason Momoa, and Flash, by Ezra Miller will be drafted, by Ben Affleck’s Batman and Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman.
The first Justice League movie’s villain is Steppenwolf. No one is cast for the role yet, coupled with the fact there is no assurance whether the character will be played by an actor or a CGI creation.
Zack Snyder, who also helmed Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Man of Steel, will direct the movie. Screenplay is by Chris Terrio and produced by Geoff Johns, Jon Berg, Deborah Snyder and Charles Roven.
Warner Bros announced there will be two Justice League movies. The first one will be released on Nov. 17, 2017 while the second Justice League movie will open on June 14, 2019. Stay tuned for news of the movie’s progress.
