Did Taylor Swift send thank-you notes to Tom Hiddleston and Calvin Harris for inspiring her new album?
It has been two years since Taylor Swift last album. Swift usually releases a record every two years – her self-titled album in 2006, Fearless in 2008, Speak Now in 2010, Red in 2012 and the the latest 1989 in 2014. It is almost the end of 2016 yet there is still no news if the singer will release a record this year.
Apparently, the Bad Blood singer is in a “dry spell.” Swift is known for writing songs based on her own experiences. Most, if not all, of her top hits are about her past relationships and ex-boyfriends like Joe Jonas, John Mayer, Taylor Lautner and Harry Styles, to name a few as listed by Billboard.
For the past years, Swift was making headlines and receiving awards left and right for her hit songs. But according to a “source,” Swift could not write a song after her tour ended. She took a time off by spending more private time with family and friends while being, and losing, two relationships along the way.
Swift dated Harris for over a year. Just two weeks after news of their break up surfaced, she was seen cuddling with new boyfriend Hiddleston. Her relationship with the Thor actor did not last though. After only three months of travelling together and meeting each other’s family and friends, the two called it quits early this month.
Her experience might have inspired her to have something to write about, though. She is said to be “ecstatic that the songs are flooding into her head” and the singer even “felt generous enough to send thank-you notes to both guys.”
But, the news is debunked by Gossip Cop. As it turns out, it was only “a crafted tale” by one of the tabloids named National Enquirer because of Swift’s history of writing about her past relationships. In any case, Taylor Swift did not write and send any letters to anyone.
