This is confirmed by Star Wars director Rian Johnson himself during the Future Filmmakers panel.
Other leaked spoilers, which many fans would be excited about, are the possibilities of Yoda returning not just as a Force ghost.

In the previous film, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Yoda had a brief appearance as a disembodied voice that spoke to Rey in her mind.
melty Canada (English) have some theories that Yoda might return as a Force ghost for Han’s funeral.
Star Wars Episode 8 is directed and written by Rian Johnson and produced by E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial’s Kathleen Kennedy and Looper‘s Ram Bergman.
