Jackie Chan is busting off his martial arts moves once again – as a LEGO warrior this time. In the first The LEGO Ninjago Movie 2017 trailer, Chan shows his moves as Sensei Wu while fighting with a chicken.

The movie was first glimpsed as a short film that premiered in Storks, as per /FILM. And now a brief preview of the film is shown through a short trailer. So far, the film has not fallen short of showing audiences the fun of the little ninjas’ adventures.

In the latest trailer, Sensei Wu is seen busting off moves when a pesky little chicken appears and throws him off guard. His skills are challenged, which gives way to revealing his clumsy side.

The plot of The LEGO Ninjago movie 2017 revolves around six ninjas who are living double lives. By day, they struggle as ordinary teens facing their nemesis: high school. By night, they are warriors assigned to protect their island home of Ninjago from villains and monsters.

Despite having the same six ninja characters as its TV series counterpart LEGO Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitsu, the cast will be voiced by different actors.

Voiced by Dave Franco, Lloyd Garmadon who is also known as the Green Ninja is gearing for a new battle. His friends, secret warriors and LEGO master builders, are on board to fight alongside him. Master Wu, voiced by Jackie Chann, leads the six ninjas.

They are set to fight the “Worst Guy Ever” named Lord Garmadon by Justin Theroux. He is the evil warlord and Lloyd’s father at the same time.

Lloyd’s mother Koko is voiced by Olivia Munn. The cast also includes Michael Pena as Kai, Kumail Najiani as Jay, Fred Armisen as Cole, Zach Woods as Zane, and Abi Jacobson as Nya.

The movie is directed by Charlie Bean who is best known for Tron: Uprising. He will be directing from a script by writers Dan Hageman, Kevin Hageman, Kevin Chesley and Bryan Shukoff.

The LEGO Ninjago movie is scheduled to arrive in theatres on Sept. 22, 2017.
