Ben Affleck spills the beans about his second Tactical Batsuit for the Justice League movie this 2017.
According to Yahoo Movies UK, the actor said, “There’s two suits in Justice League. One we’ve seen before, and then one that he augments because of the nature of the mission which I can’t give away.”
He adds, “But it was a chance for them to play with the suit and add elements to it and tech it out. I thought they did a really good job. It was really fun.”
Batman is not the only character who got his second suit.
Both The Flash and Cyborg each had another suit which was their costume’s early concept builds. There is a possibility they would not be scrapped. Like Batman’s, the blueprints might be used as upgrades in future films, including their standalone movies.
In Justice League 2017, Ben Affleck’s Bruce Wayne/Batman pairs with Gal Gadot’s Diana Price/Wonder Woman to recruit metahumans and form a team. The group will include Barry Allen/Flash played by Ezra Miller, Victor Stone/Cyborg played by Ray Fisher and Arthur Curry/Aquaman played by Jason Momoa. Henry Cavill who plays Clark Kent/Superman is also on board.
They will stand against the main villain Steppenwolf and hunt down three of Earth’s Mother Boxes. An actor was said to be in final negotiations for the role but his identity is not yet disclosed.
Director Zack Snyder helms from a script by Argo’s Chris Terrio. Together they partner with producers Geoff Johns, Jon Berg, Deborah Snyder and Charles Roven.
Snyder confirmed there will be two movies for Justice League. He also clarified they will both be standalone movies and not one movie split into two.
This week, the production has wrapped filming for the first movie in London, as reported by Hollywood Reporter.
The first Justice League is set to hit theatres on Nov. 17, 2017, while the second targets a June 14, 2019 release date.
