Everyone will be pleased to know that Spider-Man: Homecoming has completed filming. Photos from the production showed Tom Holland’s Peter Parker/Spider-Man filming on set in New York.
As told by ComingSoon.net, set photos revealed Tom Holland walking down from a subway station, possibly a scene of him going to school and back. More set photos show Holland all suited up as the web-slinger himself, hanging onto the railings, sitting on rooftops and doing a few stunts on his own. Photos also show Holland waving to the bystanders and fans that were there to witness the filming.
Production for Spider-Man: Homecoming was completed Tuesday and director Jon Watts posted a video on Instagram, showing a balloon with Spider-Man’s face on it floating up to the sky. The Ramones’ track “Spider-Man” served as the video’s background music. Holland also posted a photo on Instagram of the production staff in the plane indicating the last day of filming.
Meanwhile, some major plot details of Spider-Man: Homecoming are still under wraps but rumors have been circulating that Spider-Man might not be facing one villain but three villains. According to Schmoes Know, Bokeem Woodbine is confirmed to be playing perhaps one of the movie’s main antagonists due to the set photos that were leaked before. Michael Keaton is known to have signed on to play an antagonist and it is highly likely that he will be playing The Vulture.
However, the third villain is hinted to be someone who clashes with Peter and not Spider-Man. It is hinted that Marisa Tomei’s Aunt May is dating again in the movie so it is possible that Peter does not approve of her new boyfriend.
Spider-Man: Homecoming premieres on July 7, 2017. It also stars Logan Marshall-Green, Kenneth Choi, Zendaya, Tony Revolori, Donald Glover, Martin Starr, Michael Barbieri, Angourie Rice, Jacob Batalon and Tyne Daly. Jon Favreau and Robert Downey, Jr. are also reprising their roles as Happy Hogan and Tony Stark/Iron Man respectively.
