Dylan O’Brien is back on Twitter after months of being inactive while recovering from serious injuries he suffered during filming for Maze Runner: The Death Cure. What do the three letters on his tweet stand for?
O’Brien’s last tweet dated seven months ago, before he got into an accident on set.
After almost 200 days of silence on the popular social media and his 4.55 million followers missing the actor, he finally showed up on Twitter and wrote, “LGM.”
And actually, O’Brien showed support for his favorite baseball team, as per E! Online. As a fan of New York Mets, he expressed his pride before the close of the season.
Last March, the actor got in a serious accident while filming for the third installment of the Maze Runner in Vancouver, Canada. Reports say he got hit by his own safety vehicle after falling while doing a stunt.
Supposedly, they are to resume filming on May. But as it turns out, Dylan O’Brien’s injuries were far more serious than they first thought. The accident led him to suffer concussions, lacerations and broken bones.
He needed more time to recover, and of course, his health is the first priority. With that, production for Maze Runner: The Death Cure was moved indefinitely.
Thankfully, Dylan O’Brien has recovered, albeit slowly, but surely from his injuries.
Filming will resume on February 2017, which was the initial target release date of the movie.
The third installment of the franchise is an adaptation from the bestselling youngadult dystopian novel series of James Dashner. It is set in an apocalyptic world while Thomas, Dylan O’Brien’s character, is set on a quest to look for the cure of a disease called “Flare” that has plagued many people.
Director Wes Ball is back to helm from a script penned by T.S. Nowlin.
Maze Runner: The Death Cure will arrive in theatres on Jan. 12, 2018.
