Once Upon a Time Season 6 will delve into an origin story of Cinderella and just how mean her evil stepmother and wicked stepsisters can be. Titled The Other Shoe, Ashley/Cinderella searches for her stepmother and stepsisters to settle an unfinished business.
In the new episode of Once Upon a Time Season 6, we will see an origin story which might just break our hearts.
How did Cinderella (Jessy Schram) get her name?
It comes with a prize, one of her most precious possessions even, which is her mother’s gown.
Her mother and stepsisters just had to prove how evil they can be and destroy the one thing that means to Ella the most, according to E! Online. They threw the gown into the fire while Ella scrambles after it, making her get covered with cinder in the process.
The two stepsisters thought they are so clever to come up with such a name.
Ashley/Ella asks Emma (Jamie Morrison), Henry (Jared S. Gilmore) and Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) to look for her stepfamily in order to settle an unfinished business before it is too late. Just what it is, we would have to find out.
In a flashback, we will also get to see the ball and and how she meets her prince.
More family and friends, even enemies, will reunite in the Land of Untold Stories in this episode.
There will be more exploration in David’s (Josh Dallas) backstory as well. Like Ella, he is searching for someone, or something, too.
David seeks for information regarding his father and strikes a deal with Gold (Robert Carlyle). He then delivers a message to Belle (Emilie de Ravin) in exchange for information.
Meanwhile, Regina (Lana Parilla) is set on defeating the Evil Queen, her Enchanted Forest counterpart. In order for her to do it, she needs to know how. This leads her to try to get information out of Mr. Hyde (Sam Witwer) by bribing him.
