Teen Wolf Season 6 is going to be the finale for the supernatural teen drama. As the show’s last hurrah, executive producer Jeff Davis revealed there will be “people showing up” and a “number of crazy ideas” in spoilers.
During the show’s New York Comic Con panel, Tyler Posey revealed Teen Wolf Season 6 is going to be their last show and panel. That is until the reunion, the actor proclaimed, according to Deadline.
An 8-minute cold open clip commenced the panel. The sneak peek showed nothing short of high-peaked emotions – fear, panic and sorrow, to mention a few.
Showrunner Davis revealed some spoilers for the finale 20-episode arc. According to Davis, there are a “number of crazy ideas” running in the writer’s room. He confessed that it is “really hard to do a series finale.”
One of the ideas that popped was if it is a good idea to bring in some cameos. As he said, there are still “unwritten episodes” so possibilities can still be explored.
In regards to bringing back past characters and cast, he divulged there will be a “number of people” showing up for the last season of the TV series loosely based on the 1985 Michael J. Fox film of the same name.
One of the names that popped up in spoilers is Tyler Hoechlin, as per Digital Spy. Hoechlin played Derek Hale, once an Alpha of the pack, and is last seen on Season 4. From being a wolf, he is currently seen flaunting the red cape as Superman on CW’s Supergirl.
Hoechlin may have his hands full with a rumored standalone Superman series on the small screen but he had deep roots with Teen Wolf as one of the main characters in the first four seasons. Surely, a little cameo or even an episode or two would not hurt.
Teen Wolf Season 6 will air on Tuesday, Nov. 15 on MTV.
