The Vampire Diaries Season 8 spoilers reveal the finale will take a nostalgic route and bring back a lot from the past. The supernatural vampire series’ goodbye feels more and more palpable.
The TV series’ showrunner Julie Plec reveals we will walk down the memory lane in the season finale of The Vampire Diaries Season 8 spoilers.
One of them is obviously proven in the premiere episode’s title, Hello, Brother. That is the familiar line of Damon (Ian Somerhalder) to his brother Stefan (Paul Wesley) as he reveals himself in Mystic Falls during the first episode of Season 1.
In fact, all of the episodes in Season 8 will feature lines from the dialogue of the series’ first season.
A character is also coming back in the form of Michael Trevino. He plays the character of Tyler Lockwood who had been a werewolf, then a hybrid, then a human, then a werewolf again.
This time, he will pop back in Episode 3 and face Damon again which, according to their history, does not go always go down well.
Plec also disclosed that along with the writers, they are trying to bring back the decade dances to no success yet. They had already pitched and abandoned nine decade dance episodes so far.
Other Mystic Falls events to reappear are the carnival where Caroline (Candice King) became a vampire, Founder’s Day and Miss Mystic Falls.
Aside from what fans have seen before, the finale will also go to places fans knew but have not been to yet. As of now, they are shooting a flashback of the world of Stefan when he was the Ripper of Monterey.
Being the finale, The Vampire Diaries Season 8 spoilers shows us that finally, fans will be shown the stories they have only just heard about.
The Vampire Diaries Season 8 will air its first episode on Friday, Oct. 21, 2016 on The CW.
