It seems that things are looking brighter for the love story of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith. The couple was seen happily relaxing in a SoHo house in Malibu.
This was after Will admitted that both he and his wife have agreed to undergo marriage counseling. The revelation was announced just last week, until last Saturday both were already seen enjoying a well-needed vacation on the said tourist spot.
While the couple has been together for long, there were many rumors that plagued them. Some of these include speculations that both were actually in an open relationship. There was talk about divorce and separation, as well.
But the latest news shows evidence to the contrary. Both in casual attire, the couple were obviously in delight of each other’s company. Despite the numerous gossip and news that questioned the direction of their relationship, the couple have endured and is approaching their 19th wedding anniversary.
When asked about the “secret” for their long and successful love story, action movie star Will Smith simply said that it takes a lot of dedication. He said that it also comes down to simply “not quitting,” and added that no one should expect it to be easy.
Furthermore, he revealed that both did not “work” into their relationship as much as they worked on their individual selves. He said that he and Jada Pinkett-Smith worked out their individual flaws, and presented themselves as “better than they were previously.”
Meanwhile, Jada also expressed her love for the Suicide Squad actor by posting a video on social media. It served as a birthday greeting, and in it she recalled Will’s efforts with helping in the water crisis of underdeveloped countries. She said that he remains to be a “fire of inspiration” in her heart.
Despite the horrible rumors and hoaxes affecting them (like the one that stated their son Jaden Smith committed suicide), the love story of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith appears to remain strong. In the words of Will himself: “You know we’re just not quitters.”
