Brad Pitt breaks his silence on split with Angelina Jolie since the actress filed a divorce case in September 2016. Recently, reports said that the actor may have some explosive audio recordings of Jolie that could make him win his custody battle with his estranged wife.
According to a source close to the couple, Brad Pitt and his legal team might consider using the audio recordings if the divorce case goes to court. Despite this, the actor is somehow reluctant about the recordings because it could get ugly and is absolutely against the actress if they were to be made public. No one wants to play dirty and it will not do well for their children, the source added.
Angelina Jolie and her legal group appear to be absolutely persistent to stop Pitt getting joint custody. In addition to this, Jolie’s lawyer said that they planned to prove that Pitt was abusive. They added that if Pitt gets joint custody, the kids would be at risk. But then again, the actor had been cleared of all the allegations against his son, Maddox.
An argument happened on the plane between the father and son, but that was it. There was definitely no abuse. It was previously reported that the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services cleared Pitt against the said allegations. After exhausting everything on their investigation, they did not find any piece of evidence against the actor.
The statement that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt had an agreement regarding the custody of their six children, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Knox and Vivienne, has not been confirmed. Other reports said that the actress requested for sole custody of the kids, but Pitt, on the other hand, requested for joint custody.
Just this week, the actor had several public appearances and he was grateful for the support of his fans. Pitt mentioned, “It’s really sweet; everyone has been really kind out here. It’s really nice to have all the support.”
He also said that he was separating with Jolie, his long-term partner as promotional proceedings for the film Allied were launching.
