Black Friday sale 2016 is unstoppable; it even became the biggest shopping day in the UK even though the British do not celebrate Thanksgiving. Many retailers have started slashing down prices despite the event not yet starting in a few days, including eBay and Morrisons.
Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving in the US. It also marks the start of the Christmas holiday shopping spree and this year, the event falls on Nov. 25. What started as a one-day event turned into more or less a week-long occasion to some merchants.
Since items’ prices are marked down in massive discounts, shoppers go berserk when buying. In some cases, police interruption is needed as some shoppers tend to go physical in their shopping bonanza to covet their desired items. Online shops also crashed due to an influx of shoppers going to the websites.
It is only acceptable that retailers decided to spread out the event instead of curtailing everything within 24 hours. With that, merchants get more sales and buyers get more time shopping – a win-win situation for everyone.
eBay Launches Daily Deals
The online auction giant made sure not to miss in participating on the Black Friday sale 2016 event. In fact, shoppers can already start buying discounted items as early as today as they roll out their daily deals with “unbeatable variety and choice,” says Murray Lambell, eBay UK’s Senior Director of Trading.
eBay also has a roster of shops aside from individual sellers. Brands to look out for are Argos, Maplin and Currys PC World. Consumers can also get to choose from a wide array of fashion items, beauty products and home and garden supplies.
Deals found on eBay changes on a daily basis so buyers better check on the site everyday as the sale rolls out until Tuesday, Nov. 29. Items worth noting for today’s sale include their PS4 gaming console bundle, Lenovo Ideapad laptop, Adidas Zx Flux trainers, dash cams and more.
Stock Up on Groceries in Supermarket Giant: Morrisons
As Christmas is right around the corner, it is also a good idea to stock up on grocery items in Morrisons. The food retailer offers big discounts of beer kegs and wine, including the usual favorite prosecco.
Morrisons has over 500 stores thus those who want to stock up on goods can easily complete their shopping list. Meanwhile, consumers can also conveniently shop online and have their orders delivered right on their doorstep. However, not all items from the Morrisons Black Friday sale 2016 are available online.
