Find Your Calling Through God and Your Gifts

God-given gifts

There comes a time in everyone’s life where they are faced with a big challenge in which they are not equipped for. It is possible that we are not yet ready for something like that, but it is also possible that we are not designed for such a thing.

In short, we are not meant to do something that we are not equipped to do. We do not have the God-given gifts to do it. Sometimes, we cannot help but compare ourselves to others. It is only natural and yet we beat ourselves up for not being able to be as good as they are.

We wonder why some people can do something that we ourselves cannot.

We are all designed to do different things. While there will always be someone better than us in what we like to do, it is important to remember that no one can do what “you” can do. There is only one you in the world, and you have your own skill set that no one else has.

The Pretty Girls Movement

Tamika Fussell is someone whose God-given gift is to help others find theirs. She started the Pretty Girls Movement in an effort to empower women, showing everyone that there is more to them than what meets the eye. She explained that this movement is not about vanity, but rather a virtue. It empowers women to stand up and be more than just a pretty face, and that they are “intelligent, equipped, and gifted.”

Fussell explained that each and every person has their own God-given gifts. However, not everyone knows what theirs are, and she is there to help. With the ministry, Fussell is helping everyone recognize their potential and be the best they can be all for the glory of God.

So, if you are ever feeling useless, ask yourself: What are your God-given gifts?
