It appears that promises of putting aside the differences between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, even for a short while, did not push through. Despite previous news anticipating a reunion, the couple did not spend Thanksgiving together.
The news started when Shiloh, their 10-year old daughter, sent an e-mail asking her parents to make peace, just so they could spend Thanksgiving together. The child’s emotional plea has caught the attention of the media, and reports that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are reuniting for the sake of Shiloh spread.
There was news stating that, after reading the e-mail, Jolie tried to contact Pitt so they could have their Thanksgiving Meal together, as a family. However, an “insider” recently revealed that the actress never really invited the actor in the first place. They added that while the Allied actor was in LA at the time, he was not with the family; he never spent time with Jolie.
Angelina Jolie Will Retain Custody of the Jolie-Pitt Kids
The children had been staying with their mother for the longest time since the divorce, especially since there were accusations of child abuse against Pitt. In a recent report, the FBI has cleared the actor of all allegations and stated that they will not pursue the investigation.
After a lengthy custody battle, it was reported that the couple has reached an agreement regarding the custody of their children. The kids will stay with Angelina Jolie, as childcare professionals deemed that this was the best course of action for the well-being of the kids.
Brad Pitt Moves On, Still Promoting His Latest Film Allied
While Brad Pitt had sworn off all public appearances when issues about the divorce were still heated, the actor is recently seen promoting his latest film with Marion Cotillard, Allied. The WW2-themed film has garnered mixed reviews, with responses that range from the film being an “empty shell” to hailing it as “satisfying.”
