Brad Pitt and Marion Cotillard’s movie Allied garnered much-highlighted controversy following Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s divorce. Despite the instruction of organizers, Brad and Marion walked the red carpet together to crush rumors head on.

Brad Pitt joined Marion Cotillard on the red carpet of Allied movie’s London premiere after overruling the organizers’ instructions for them to walk separately. The P.R. people were nervous that pairing the two might reignite more tension over Brad Pitt’s split with Angelina Jolie.

However, Brad Pitt, after hearing about it “went to greet Marion” instead. Apparently, Brad feels like “he did nothing wrong”; thus avoiding each other might just mean that there is indeed something to hide.

Ever since the Brangelina divorce, Allied movie gained controversy after critics’ compared it with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s Mr. & Mrs. Smith. Not only does the two have quite a similar plot of two spies under disguise who fell in love with each other, both movies also marked the end of Brad Pitt’s two marriages.

Things became even more controversial as many people viewed the divorce with the likeness of the situation. Angelina Jolie, then Brad’s co-star, was the cause of Brad and Jennifer Aniston’s divorce thus many presumed Marion Cotillard is now the culprit of Brad Pitt’s another failed marriage.

People can assume as much as they can while Marion dispelled rumors on her Instagram. Their movie’s similarities are acknowledged by Marion Cotillard as well yet she promises theirs are more “moving” and “very emotional” while Mr. & Mrs. Smith is “really a comedy.”

Marion Cotillard and Brad Pitt also bonded on Allied movie while Marion helps with Brad’s French accent which is her native tongue. The French actress was able to speak two languages in this film, English and French, thus she willingly extends a helping hand to Brad who she praises as “a good man.”
