Rick and Morty Season 3

Fans for the popular cartoon Rick and Morty have been wondering when Season 3 will be coming to the screens. After some speculation, it is possible that Rick and Morty Season 3 might be premiering in 2017, although no exact release date has been confirmed.

It was early this year that the show’s creator Dan Harmon confirmed that Season 3 of Rick and Morty will be premiering before 2016 ends. However, now that it is already just a day or two into December, not even a teaser for Season 3 has aired.

This got fans curious and with the fact that Dan Harmon withdrew his previous announcement via a Reddit AMA. Harmon said that he is not authorized nor would he really be able to give everyone a specific release date.

Close to Mr. Poopy Butthole’s Prediction

Given the circumstances, it is becoming more and more likely that Mr. Poopy Butthole’s prediction of Rick and Morty Season 3 is accurate. Mr. Poopy Butthole previously predicted that the release date for Season 3 is sometime around March 2017.

According to another Reddit user, PopDavid, who seems to know some inside information on Rick and Morty, the writers for the cartoon just finished the scripts last week. So far, they also only have one full animation for one episode as well, so the chances of Rick and Morty Season 3 with a 2016 release date are slim.

The information PopDavid provided may not be entirely accurate because nothing has been confirmed yet regarding the release date. He even added that it is not exactly 100 percent not happening, but more like 99 percent. That does not exactly help at all for fans of the cartoon.

However, should the information be totally confirmed, then viewers will be happy to know that Rick and Morty Season 3 is nearly done. Everyone will most likely see Rick and Morty back on the screens in or before March 2017.
