Sometimes, decisions have to be done despite the bad things it might come up with. That is what Devon will be doing as new spoilers for The Young and the Restless reveal that he will make Mariah the new face of GC Buzz.
As everyone might recall, Devon has always wanted to bring GC Buzz in a new direction. He wants to maintain the integrity of the stories they show and all he wants is to inform the people of the truth. However, Hilary seems to value ratings over quality and even resorted to playing dirty, which she constantly seems to keep doing. Previously, Dylan’s manipulated interview cost Hilary her job, and now, new spoilers reveal that Devon wants Mariah to take over as the host.
Mariah may only be an office assistant, Devon thinks she has potential. When Mariah learns of this sudden promotion, she does not seem to be pleased about this. The one who will not take this well most of all is Hilary if she ever gets word of Mariah’s promotion – and she will. On the upside, Mariah getting promoted is an opportunity for her to get back at what Hilary did to Dylan and to her.
Steve Burton’s Possible Return to Another Soap?
Behind the scenes, Steve Burton brought out a rise from fans of both The Young and the Restless and General Hospital. New spoilers hinted that Burton may be stepping in Port Charles as Jason Morgan. It was when he tweeted “Never say never is what I have learned. :)” that brought in a lot of speculation as to whether he would be coming back to Port Charles after leaving Genoa City.
As everyone knows, Burton decided not to renew his contract for The Young and the Restless as Sharon’s husband Dylan McAvoy in order to pursue other things. Now that he tweeted this, it poses the question as to whether or not he will reprise the role he originated in General Hospital.
Burton was already previously rumored to come back to the soap, but where does that leave Billy Miller? Miller is currently playing Jason Morgan, so how would this actor change fit into the story?
The Young and the Restless airs Mondays to Fridays on CBS.
