Wedding bells are ringing for Pippa Middleton and to-be husband James Matthews. Just recently, the wedding date and some more details about the couple’s awaited nuptials are revealed.
The younger sister of Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, stunned the world in her form-fitting gown as the maid of honor during her sister’s 2011 royal wedding to Prince William. This time, it is Pippa’s turn to take the spotlight as she will soon walk down the aisle towards her own wedding ceremony.
Pippa Middleton Wedding Details Revealed
The wedding date of 33-year-old Pippa and 41-year-old fiance James Matthews is set on May 20, 2017. Wedding invites are already sent out too, according to reports.
The union will be held at St. Mark’s Church, Englefield in Berkshire while the reception will be held in Carole and Michael Middleton’s, Pippa’s parents, home in Bucklebury, seven miles away from the church. A luxurious marquee in the garden is planned to be the venue for the party while the entire grounds of the Middleton’s home is to be used.
It is also revealed that Pippa is very hands-on in planning her own wedding which she intends to be “classic and elegant” and not “too expensive or look gaudy.”
As for Pippa’s wedding dress, it has been assumed by many that Giles Deacon is going to create the gown after the British fashion designer was seen carrying large garment bags in Pippa’s home last November.
Princess Charlotte and Prince George Are Present
Many people are watching out for the royal guests and it is allegedly confirmed that sister Kate Middleton and her children will be present in the family affair. Reports say Princess Charlotte is going to be one of the flower girls while Prince George is planned to be a page boy for the wedding ceremony. Kate, meanwhile, is assumed to do reading at the ceremony as she will not be Pippa’s bridesmaid.
With Pippa Middleton’s wedding date now set, everyone will surely be looking forward to the big date.
