In the midst of all the failed relationships, there is a romance blossoming somewhere in Genoa City. New spoilers for The Young and the Restless indicate that Nick and Chelsea will get together but their romance might not last as long either.
It was only a matter of time before this happened. New spoilers hint that Chelsea and Nick will become a couple. The two of them have been grieving for their late spouses and have been spending so much time together as well. But as their romance organically blossoms, the two of them might experience a roadblock in the form of Sharon.
As everyone already knows, Dylan will be leaving Genoa City soon, leaving Sharon available. Sharon will come back to work full-time, bringing her into close quarters with both Chelsea and Nick. This will pave the way for the two ex-lovers to meet and revisit the relationship they once had. Just like what previously happened between the two of them, Nick and Sharon will find themselves sharing a brief romantic moment.
The moment between Nick and Sharon will not be shown as a flashback, however, but possibly a dream sequence.
Character Returns, Introductions, and Departures
Behind the scenes, new spoilers reveal that some characters are leaving and making their way to Genoa City. As previously mentioned, Steve Burton is exiting the show, but it is unclear how. Dylan may simply be leaving, killed off or even recast.
Also previously mentioned, Michael Roark has officially wrapped up his stint as Travis Crawford as well. Roark shared his goodbye note on twitter, thanking the viewers for their continuous support as well as his co-star Amelia Heinle along with CBS executives.
However, along with character exits come character returns and introductions. Eileen Davidson’s co-star in Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Erika Girardi will be appearing as businesswoman Farrah Dubrow. Angela Lin will reprise her role as GC Buzz producer Roz and Abhi Sinha will be playing Ravi Shapur.
The Young and the Restless airs Mondays to Fridays on CBS.
