Fifth Harmony 'Truly Hurt' of Camilla Cabello Exit From Group; Camilla 'Shocked' of 5H's Public Announcement
Camilla Cabello leaves Fifth Harmony after four and a half years together.

It seems there is no harmony in Camilla Cabello’s exit in Fifth Harmony. The group and Camilla’s back and forth on their social media accounts only proves so.

Fifth Harmony announced through their Twitter and Instagram accounts the departure of Camilla from the group after their performance for the final Jingle Ball show of the year in the 19-year-old singer’s Miami hometown.

Fifth Harmony Down To Four

In a joint statement by Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane and Lauren Jauregui, the four girls posted on their Twitter and Instagram accounts that they are informed by Camilla’s representatives that she has decided to leave the group who have been together for already four years and a half.

However, they, as “four strong, committed women,” will continue to move forward as a group even without Camilla.

Camilla Cabello Responds; 5H Answers Back

Following 5H’s post, Camilla responded through her Instagram account that she is “shocked to read the statement” that the group posted without her “knowing.” The singer stated that the girls are aware of her feelings through the “long, much-needed conversations” they had about their future during the all-female band’s tour.

Camilla denies that the four remaining girls were only informed about her departure from the group through her representatives.

Meanwhile, Ally, Dinah, Lauren and Normani makes another joint statement through Twitter addressing their fans, the Harmonizers, to clear the air once and for all. The girls said Camilla’s claims of their “conversations” are not true, even when they “pleaded” to talk with her. In fact, Camilla and her team, according to the four girls, “refused” to communicate with them despite reaching out to her numerous times.

They said they, in fact, tried “with exhausted efforts” to keep the girl group alive with the five of them complete for at least one more album. It was around mid-November when they are informed by Camilla’s manager that the last time she will perform with the group will be on Dec. 18.

They also admit that they were “truly hurt” at how things ended. Moreover, watching Camilla walk away from them after five years of ups and downs have been “tough.”

Still, Camilla Cabello and Fifth Harmony wishes each other well with their endeavors.
