Nick and Chelsea seem to have something going on, but then Phyllis’ new look might pave the way for a reunion. New spoilers for The Young and the Restless reveal that Phyllis’ new look might remind Nick of someone he misses.
It seems that a love triangle might be in the works. New spoilers for The Young and the Restless indicate that Nick will see Phyllis a little differently. Differently, in a sense that she may even resemble someone whom Nick holds dear. Previously, Nick visited Phyllis in her office at Jabot, and the two of them had a little talk.
Seeing that things between her and Jack can no longer be, Phyllis decides to accept the reality and even makes some plans of her own. For starters, getting her hair dyed blonde to shed the nickname Red that Jack had given her. No more Red, hello to a blonde Phyllis!
Deep down, Phyllis may still be hoping that Jack would take a second look at her now that she changed her appearance up a bit. But she will likely not expect anything from him anymore since Jack made it clear that he was not going to take her back anymore.
When Nick sees Phyllis and her new look, her resemblance to Sage might draw him back to her, and her to him. Nick is still grieving over the loss of his wife, who died in a car crash after confronting Sharon. Phyllis looking like his late wife, as well as their current status as single parents, might pave the way for a Phyllis-Nick reunion.
As everyone can recall, Phyllis and Nick left together at Michael and Lauren’s wedding. The two of them were an item for some time, ending Nick’s marriage to Sharon. From Phyllis and Nick’s romance came Summer, and this was supposedly where Sharon’s battle with mental illness started.
Even though it seems that Chelsea and Nick may be on to something now, a Nick and Sharon reunion may also be possible. Nick still has to stand to be around Sharon if they were going to get back together at some point, after everything that transpired the past few months.
The Young and the Restless airs Mondays to Fridays on CBS.
