Game of Thrones Season 7 is still a couple of inconclusive months away, yet excitement for the hit fantasy drama series is already building up. Adding to the anticipation, Maisie Williams shares regarding her own excitement on what is about to unfold while Sophie Turner spills her most embarrassing moment.
The 19-year-old actress, who plays the fierce Arya Stark in GoT, was a guest on BBC’s The Radio 1 Breakfast Show with Nick Grimshaw. Along the interview, questions about Game of Thrones, and its ending was asked to which Maisie answers with vague yet teasing replies.
Maisie Swears A “Great Finale” for Game of Thrones Season 7
Maisie says she knows nothing about the ending but admits she has some “educated guesses.” She also shares that she and other cast have tried to get more information from the writers who “keep it very close to their hearts.”
Yet the English actress reveals it is “exciting,” especially towards the ending of Season 7 which she says has a “great finale.” Maisie also adds how she is “excited for the series after” referring to the next and final season of GoT.
The rest of the cast also speculates the ending of the hit HBO series, according to Maisie, especially when they go out together. But they always have to be careful in case people might overhear and think what they were discussing will actually happen when, in fact, they are just talking about “possible storylines.”
Sophie Turner Spills Maisie’s Embarrassing U2 Moment
Meanwhile, during the interview, Nick revealed that he has been secretly messaging her co-star Sophie Turner. And who else would be the best person to get some juicy and embarrassing secret to spill other than Maisie’s fictional Stark sibling and real-life best friend.
Maisie had an adorable reaction when Sophie instructed Nick to mention Bono. She then explained how the two of them luckily met Bono backstage at a U2 concert. When the singer asked for the actress’ name, Maisie tried her best to suppress her fangirling while keeping it cool.
She tried to be so cool about it that she blurted out to ask for his name in return. Maisie admits her humiliation at how she asked for the name of the lead vocalist of the band at the concert they attended.
The two just continues to adorably share glimpses of their closeness on and offscreen. And as for Game of Thrones Season 7, with the filming pushed back for winter, its return to the screens will also be late as well which is expected to be around summer of this year.
