GoT has undoubtedly infiltrated the lives of many people in this generation making it one of the biggest TV series of today. Its fame also comes with it some hardships and challenges especially when there are many eyes and ears that want to get their hands first on some information.
No To Spoilers For Maisie
This leads to many threads of speculations and theories that are heavily discussed over coffee breaks, talks during rides and basically everywhere. Things also escalate quickly as they intensify into leaks of plot and behind-the-scenes insights where tightly-kept secrets are untimely revealed.
It sure is no fun and the 19-year-old English actress who plays fierce fighter Arya Stark in Game of Thrones admits she is definitely not happy about it. When talking to RadioTimes.com, Maisie confessed that it “really, really upsets” her when spoilers regarding the plot leak online.
She explains that it is because “only a certain group of people” would set their eyes on those things when compared to the number of people who watches the blockbuster epic fantasy. The actress also admits that “it hurts.”
Moreover, it gets “even more annoying” considering that the leak might come from one of the people on the inside. She describes it as a “childish,” “annoying” and “sad” thing to do. Even though people still watches the show despite the leaks, Maisie says, “It does really grind my gears.”
What is Next For Maisie Williams?
Maisie Williams debuted for her first role on TV with GoT six years ago. She was cast to play the role of Arya, the third child and second daughter of Lord Eddard Stark, the Lord of Winterfell, and wife, Lady Catelyn Stark.
Through seasons one to six, and the upcoming seventh installment, her character has played a major role. And just like that, she spent most of growing up and her teenage years with the show.
Now that GoT is officially ending on Season 8, Maisie shares she is thrilled for what is ahead especially with the freedom to come. Maisie says she is “excited” because, finally, she can “do absolutely anything I want.”
She enumerates things that might be up on her to-do list, from possibly going away for three years, traveling the world, or maybe writing a film. With the schedule of shooting for Game of Thrones, Maisie never got to enjoy the luxury of free time ever since she started out.
That does not mean she will stay away from acting, though. Maisie is set to voice a character in Early Man, an upcoming Aardman animation, and she can also be seen in iBoy, a Netflix movie, which can now be watched.

While talking with Time Out, Maisie provided some tiny snippets regarding the finale of GoT Season 7. Now that we have reached the climax, she says, “It’s just kind of tumbling now.”
